Grace United Church has served the community of Napanee
and surrounding area since 1842, and has grown and developed along with the town.

We are part of the East Central Ontario Regional Council, part of The United Church of Canada.

Office Administrator
Leslie Milhuish

Leslie Sweet has been the Office Administrator for the pastoral charge for 5 five years.  Before that, she has been a member of Grace United Church her whole life, so she knows the church well.  She enjoys chatting with people who come into the office to do business, get some information, or ask for help. 
   In addition to this job, Leslie balances multiple jobs.She is involved in the wider community in a variety of ways, including volunteering with the local girls’ field hockey team and playing baseball.  She is the mother to two handsome little boys.  She likes music, sports, agriculture and gardening, and knitting in her free time (not that she has any).

Music Director
Steven Lindsay-Maracle

Steven Lindsay was the organist and choir director at Deseronto United Church since 2014, and joined Grace United Church as Music Director in 2012.  Prior to that, he had played the organ in a variety of local churches, starting at the age of 15.  He directed the Deseronto Choir, the Grace Senior Choir, the Men of the Steeple, and United Sound, the praise band.  He likes both traditional and contemporary music.
   When he is not playing the organ or piano, he works as the Program Manager at Eksa’oKon`:a Childcare Centre at the Tyendinaga Mohwak Territory.  In his spare time, he is a history buff, and he bakes really good shortbread cookies.

Care Taker
Scott Piercy

Scott Piercy is our longest serving staff person.  He was custodian of Deseronto Church since 1999, and began at Grace Church in 2006.  He has been a member of Deseronto United Church for his whole life, and was also the representative for Deseronto Church to Four Winds Presbytery.
In addition to his custodial duties, he farmed with his parents in Deseronto.. 
He is a bit of a computer geek, and enjoys getting together with the Napanee Square Dancers.
